The Avengers

I meant to post this last week but I’m still gutted about not being able to join Marvel’s fan art contest (which ended last week). What’s depressing is that, upon reading about the contest, I lost my Wacom stylus somehow that day. I turned to facebook and asked if anyone could lend me theirs for a few days. Two days later and still nothing. In my desperation, I bought my friend’s old-ish Wacom for half its original price. And on the hour before deadline…a few thousand pesos less in savings, very excited, very sleep deprived, I hit submit and…

I KNOW, it’s still my fault I overlooked the eligibility part of the rules. I mean I was really pumped when I learned about the chance of doing a cover art for Marvel. It’s always been a dream so I just jumped to it. So yeah, lesson learned, I guess. But on the bright side, I really enjoyed sculpting these guys on Zbrush. It’s been a while since I’d done any 3D. But my gods if some of these characters don’t make me want to rip someone’s head off because they have too many fecking parts! Yes, I’m looking at you Tony, ya nasty. (-_-)
